Problems under Windows XP
Downloading Acrobat Reader
Downloading PDF Files
Using PDF Forms
There have been some reports of printing problems when attempting to print the NLI from Adobe Acrobat in Windows. We have been looking into the issue and have the following suggestions:
If you have installed Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0, but already had Acrobat Reader 3.0 on your system, uninstall one or the other. See Uninstalling Acrobat, below. It appears that the two versions of the program cause a conflict when attempting to print. In several cases, removing Acrobat Reader 4.0 resolved the issue.
If you have Acrobat Reader 4.0 but do not have 3.0, and you continue to have printing problems, removed Acrobat Reader 4.0 and install 3.0. It is available from Adobe.
If you have access to another computer, attempt to print the NLI from that machine. If this is successful, note which version(s) of Reader are installed on that computer, and duplicate this configuration on the first computer.
Attempt to print to a network printer or a printer that supports PostScript. It appears that the printing errors tend to come from PCL-based printers.
Download the latest drivers for your printer. For instance, to download drivers for Hewlett Packard printers, visit www.hp.com. Refer to the owner's manual for your printer for the web site address.
The NLI was created using Adobe Acrobat 3.0, so if you did not make any configuration changes from last year, the NLI should print properly.

Uninstalling Acrobat
To uninstall either Acrobat Reader 3.0 or 4.0 from a Windows system, select Start --> Settings --> Control Panel. Then open Add/Remove Programs. Select the version of Reader you wish to uninstall and click Uninstall. When prompted to remove any shared components, choose to keep all shared items.
NOTE: This solution has not worked for all users!
