To download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader:

1. Open your web browser to Adobe's Acrobat Download Page.

2. Enter the information for your computer in the spaces provided. You may select your language and the type of operating system your computer uses (Windows 85, 98, or NT; Mac users select one of the two Mac options). Enter your name and e-mail address. Then click the Download button.

3. Your computer will prompt you to provide a location in which to save the Acrobat download file. Be certain to remember where this file is located.

4. Locate the file that was saved to your computer in Step 3, above. Double-click on this file to start the installation process. (Mac users, you may need to decompress the file first. If so, try double-clicking on the file; if this does not work, please contact your local computer support provider.)

5. Follow the instructions that are provided by the installation program. Once complete, you may need to restart your computer.
