Downloading PDF Files

While you may view PDF files within your web browser, you might wish to download the files to your local computer.

In order to download PDF files (files ending in ".pdf") to your computer, you will need to have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.

Once you have acrobat installed, you may save any PDF file to your local computer; this will allow you to open the file at any time without returning to the NLI web site.

For Windows Users:

Right click on the name of the file you wish to download. This name is the link like one you would normally click on to view the document within your web browser.

Select "Save link as..." or "Save as..." from the pop-up menu that appears. Your computer will then prompt you for a location to save the file. Be certain you know where you are saving this file; if you have questions, you may need to contact your local computer support provider.

Once the file is saved, you may open it on your computer any time you wish by double-clicking on the file.

For Macintosh Users:
Click and hold on the name of the file you wish to download. This name will be a link like one you would normally click on to view the document within your web browser.
